Hub 2.0 completion

Jon: Key question today: Are we done with Hub 2.0? Howard has completed the small number of editing changes which were assigned to him. I reviewed those changes, and they all look fine. My opinion is that we are done.

Howard: Need to move wiki JSDoc changes into source code.

Javier: I'll do that. I'll go through the whole Managed Hub APIs chapter and make sure the source code and wiki are the same.

Howard: Thanks very much.

Jon: Anything else? Test suite? The unloading issue that has come up recently?

Javier: Unloading issue is resolved. I went through all of the browsers to make sure that we eliminated the false positives errors.

Jon: Have you rerun the full test suite across all of the browsers?

Javier: I'll do that today or tomorrow. After that we can send up a Release Candidate build.

Jon: Any other open issues?

(none)

Jon: So here is the process towards approval. Javier, please run the test suite across all browsers. Once the code passes, then send an email to the committee notifying everyone. Then, I'll send email to the InteropWG giving people a few days to vote +1/whatever on whether it's OK to schedule a Release Review. Assuming no negatives, then I'll schedule a Release Review phone call according to our process. We need to give 3 weeks notice with frozen spec so that members have a chance to do IP reviews, and collect questions for the Release Review phone call. Then we have the Release Review phone call, which might have few attendees and be short if there are no problems. Then if everything looks good, I as chair of the committee, ask the Steering Committee to approve Hub 2.0. Is this OK with everyone?

(yes)

RESOLUTION: March to voting and finalization as described above

Future phone calls

Jon: At this point, we have no open issues. Therefore, no more weekly phone calls on Hub 2.0. If someone comes up, we can schedule phone calls. Otherwise, next phone call will be the Release Review phone call. OK?

(agreement)
