  • <Rotan> Regrets I won't be on audio today, but am here to contribute any way I can.
  • Rhys hopes that Rotan is comfortable
  • <Rotan> Lying down. Good as it gets.
  • Rotan wonders how many will be joining us today? Agenda is light. Should not take long.
  • <Rhys> Could be short. I'm on hold with the call system. It's telling me that the conference moderator has not joined yet.
  • <Rotan> Biggest issue is to get more contributions to the whitepaper.
  • <Rhys> Agreed
  • <Rotan> I'll be writing a bit perhaps tonight. On the power issue with XHR.
  • <Rotan> And related issues to do with always-on apps.
  • <Rhys> Cool.
  • <Rotan> But there are ajax-specific things that the experienced people should contribute to.
  • <Rhys> Just sent a mail to Jon F. to see if he has to do some magic to get the call started.
  • <Rotan> And it would be good to get independent references.
  • <Rotan> For example, do we have a citation for the XHR power issue?
  • Rotan concerned that moderator might not arrive! :)
  • <toha> Any response from Jon? Is there going to be a meeting?
  • Rhys has just expressed that in an e-mail to Rick. No response from Jon yet
  • Rhys is getting to the point where he thinks we may be doomed for this call!
  • <Rotan> How about Rhys give me an Action to write some power-related text for the paper? At least the meeting would have an outcome!
  • <Rhys> I'm always up for giving people actions !!
  • <Rhys> How do we feel about rescheduling for sometime next week?
  • Rotan is OK for next week. I should be on different meds by then.
  • <Rotan> Sure.
  • <Rhys> Just asking Rick on e-mail.
  • Rhys thinks that he should ask Rotan where to get the medication he is currently on. The 'horse pills' sound wicked!
  • Rotan says you really wouldn't like them. Beer has a similar effect, and tastes a lot better! :)
  • <Rhys> No response from Jon or Rick. Let's call this one off and try again next week. I'll mail Jon and find out what went wrong. I'll also update the meeting record with a request for Rotan to add some power-related material
