During Phase II Voting, Christophe Jolif of ILOG noticed that there was not a feature request for ECMAScript4. Here are his comments:

"ECMAScript 4.0 being strongly-typed, it would help a lot the life of professional component developers by improving development time and long term maintenance (Strong typing is something that ActionScript 3.0 is giving to us and C# as-well in the Silverlight world). It would also allow faster virtual machines."
