I have sent email to the Steering Committee to provide final/formal approval for the new Working Group. Should take 2-4 days to get the approvals in.

Regarding MS, I haven't heard of any decisions yet about them joining the new Accessibility WG.

Jon: updated wiki & added priority levels within requirement

Jon: some Wiki markup generated from db

Jon: will meet with Prassana later today on header rules and using cache - will start working on creating

manual checks of requirements

Jon: example: 2.2.1 timing adjustable - if no scripting, no embed object tags, no meta refresh tags, this

would be N/A?

Jon: will work on rules that would be manual and hopefully present Dec 1. (NO CALL NEXT WEEK)

Jon: any suggestions for improving page he added URL to chat for?

Jon: will take out Status as if it appears here, it would be accepted rule

Jon: Priority levels are relative - 1 should be addressed before 2, 2 before 3

Jon: updated wiki re: Priority levels

Nathan: has not had chance to work with new changes to IDs

Nathan: not looked at test suite yet

Jon: has 28 test so far, by next meeting should have more. Each test contains info about which nodes

pass/fail

Jon: working on more tests and updating rule sets and using caching system

Jon: tests are for tools to verify tools report correctly

Jon: automated feedback would be helpful for verification

Marc: CSUN: all speakers must be registered by when?

Jon: is sure presentation will be accepted

Jon: sure there will be plenty of time to register

Nathan: will register this year

Jon: expects once notified, will be several weeks to register

David Todd: how many attendees?

Jon: 3 - 4,000. Room was packed last year

Jon: nothing more to cover today - next call is Dec 1
