Agenda

  • (Jon) Update on web site, wiki, IRC, maillists
  • (Jon) Roadmap for next few meetings
  • (All) Start review of use cases and requirements

Topic: Update on web site, wiki, IRC, maillists

Jon: Web site is up. IRC we agreed previously to irc.freenode.net #oaa-interop. Wiki is up. If you have any troubles, send me an email. We hope to have maillists working this week.

Topic: Roadmap for next few meetings

Jon: I propose that we take this meeting and the next meeting to discuss use cases and requirements, and then move onto technical issues. We can cycle back and update use cases and requirements over time, but let's just use the next two sessions to get on the same page about what we are trying to accomplish. OK? Any objections?

- A couple of people say OK. No one objects.

Topic: Start review of use cases and requirements

Jon: I created a first pass version of the document in the past 12 hours by extracting use cases and requirements from previous OAA meeting minutes and by looking at a few toolkits. See http://www.openajaxalliance.org/member/wiki/index.php/Interoperability_Use_Cases_And_Requirements

Jon: I suggest that for this telecon we just update that page in real-time as we review that page and people submit ideas and suggestions

- People agreed with this approach. As a result, most of the discussions for the rest of the telecon are represented as updated to http://www.openajaxalliance.org/member/wiki/index.php/Interoperability_Use_Cases_And_Requirements, including the assignment of ACTIONs. Most of what we discussed in the meeting can be gleaned by checking the history on that wiki page to see what was added/changed during the time of the teleconference.

- Halfway through the meeting we launched into a short brainstorming period. We added a couple of high level items to use cases and several high level items to requirements. Some assignments were made to flesh out details. Everyone was encouraged to edit the wiki.

ACTION: Jon to create a page for Ajax toolkits where vendors can provide a short description and links.
